Ramadan: Senator Mustapha Distributes Food Items To Households In Kwara Central


The Senator representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly and the Turaki of Ilorin, Saliu Mustapha, has commenced the distribution of food palliatives to households across the 52 wards in his senatorial district as part of his efforts to support constituents during this holy month of Ramadan.

The palliatives include bags of rice in 10kg, 25kg, and 50kg sizes, aimed at assisting households, particularly the less privileged, in observing the sacred month with ease.

Speaking on the initiative, the senator’s Legislative Assistant, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulkadir Tunde, emphasized that the distribution is part of Senator Mustapha’s commitment to alleviating hardship and uplifting the welfare of his people.

He noted that the palliatives will be distributed to religious leaders, traditional rulers, Islamic clerics, political stakeholders, APC members, community leaders, Associations and residents across wards of the senatorial district.

Alh Abdulkadir reaffirmed the senator’s dedication to prioritizing the well-being of his constituents beyond Ramadan, through various initiatives aimed at improving their livelihoods.

The distribution exercise will continue in the coming days across the four local government areas of Kwara Central.
