
The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, has extended warm greetings to teachers and staff across Kwara State as schools resume for the third term, describing them as critical stakeholders in the state’s education system.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Olohungbebe expressed gratitude for their selfless service and called for continued support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s educational reforms.
He also announced the release of the approved academic calendar for both public and private schools, assuring that all arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth commencement of academic activities.
“We appreciate the commitment of our teachers, staff, and our partners, including proprietors of private schools thus far. We are confident they will continue to give their best as we nurture our children for a brighter future,” the statement read.
The Commissioner also urged teachers to strictly adhere to the approved calendar and comply with all educational guidelines issued by the ministry.
