NAEOS Set To Honour Amofin Akogun With Policy Maker Award




The National Association of Ekiti and Oke-Ero Students (NAEOS), Kwara State Polytechnic Chapter, is set to honour Amofin Joseph Titilope Akogun, President of the BTA Foundation, with the Policy Maker Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to youth empowerment, education, public policy perception, and grassroots development.

The award presentation will take place during the association’s annual Iyan Day, slated for tomorrow, June 17, 2025, at the institution’s main auditorium in Ilorin.

According to the leadership of NAEOS, the award is being presented to Amofin Akogun in acknowledgment of his “relentless commitment to progressive policymaking, social advocacy, and investment in the youth and educational advancement of Ekiti and Oke-Ero students across Kwara South and beyond.”

Amofin Akogun, a rising political figure and founder of the BTA Foundation, has championed several community-based initiatives, including education sponsorships, policy workshops, and youth training programs. His work has gained increasing attention across Kwara South in the State, particularly among student bodies and grassroots organizations.

Speaking ahead of the event, NAEOS President,  Comrade Joshua Adebayo:

“This award is a reflection of the impact Amofin Akogun continues to make in our communities. He is not only a policymaker but a passionate advocate for students and future leaders.”

The 2025 Policy Maker Award adds to a growing list of recognitions for Amofin Akogun, further solidifying his position as a leading voice in shaping youth-centered development policies in the state.
