The BTA Foundation is extending its commitment to grassroots empowerment as its Online Banking initiative moves into the Oke Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State this Saturday.
The distribution in Oke Ero marks the next phase of the Foundation’s Economic Empowerment Scheme, following successful delivery in Ekiti and Isin Local Governments.
According to the statement issued by the foundation on Friday and made available to 9japarrot media, in this round of empowerment, 15 new beneficiaries from Oke Ero will receive a comprehensive start-up package designed to boost financial inclusion and foster community level enterprise, with Point-of-Sale (POS) Terminals distribution to enable beneficiaries to operate mobile banking services and ₦25,000 Start-up Grants to provide the essential capital needed to kickstart their small businesses.
The Foundation stated that the initiative is part of its commitment to building a future where every hardworking young person can stand tall through opportunity, empowerment, and dignity.
The scheme focuses on enabling beneficiaries to start their own businesses at the community level, thereby creating opportunities and promoting local economic activity through micro-enterprise.
