Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar (3SU), representing Kwara North Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committees on Rules and Business as well as Trade and Investment, has extended heartfelt felicitations to Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Suleiman (Amanah), Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.
Senator Sadiq described Professor Suleiman as an outstanding scholar and dedicated public servant whose immense contributions to governance, democratic development, and legislative capacity building have remained exemplary and impactful.
He noted that under Professor Suleiman’s leadership, NILDS has remained a centre of excellence, providing critical support to the National Assembly and promoting democratic governance, research, and policy development across the country.
Sen. Sadiq prayed for continued strength, wisdom, sound health and divine favour upon the celebrant and expressed confidence that Professor Suleiman will continue to contribute meaningfully to nation-building and democratic advancement.
