President Bola Tinubu has nominated Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Ude, SAN, from Enugu State, for confirmation as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The nomination is to replace Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, who recently resigned from his position as the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology amid allegations concerning his academic records.
Mr. Nnaji’s resignation was accepted by the President on October 7, 2025.
In a letter forwarded to the Senate, President Tinubu requested the lawmakers to confirm Dr. Ude’s appointment, in line with Section 147(2) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
