Senator Sadiq Joins Kwara APC Leaders Strategic Meeting, Back Tinubu’s Re-election

In a major show of solidarity ahead of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, political leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State have reaffirmed their commitment to work together in support of the President and to attract greater dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

The high-level strategic meeting, held in Abuja, brought together key stakeholders including the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, the State APC Chairman, Hon. Sunday Fagbemi, Federal lawmakers, and political appointees from Kwara State.

Also in attendance was the Senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District, Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, who lauded the initiative as a timely and unifying platform for leaders across the state to align their efforts in deepening governance outcomes and consolidating the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu.

Senator Sadiq, who serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Rules and Business as well as Trade and Investment also emphasized the need for purposeful collaboration among all elected and appointed officials in Kwara.
He noted that unity of purpose among party stakeholders remains essential for sustaining development across the state and ensuring continued federal attention to critical sectors such as infrastructure, security, education, agriculture, and youth empowerment.

Convener of the meeting, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) and a close ally of President Tinubu, highlighted the essence of the gathering, describing it as a rare opportunity for Kwara leaders to connect and collaborate for the state’s collective progress.

The meeting also provided a platform for stakeholders to share insights on security and governance challenges within the state, with renewed pledges to continue working with relevant authorities to ensure peace and sustainable growth across all zones.
