••Alhaja Barakat Atunse, Ayedun Olaitan Ahmed to Lead New Groups

Signaling a determined push towards the 2027 general election, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, the Founder and Principal of ENACT has officially inaugurated the ENACT Youths Brigade and the ENACT Women Vanguard.
Inaugurated on Wednesday, these two groups represent the apex youth and women leadership structures within the ENACT political family, strategically positioning the movement within the Kwara South Senatorial District.
The inauguration of the women’s apex body reflects a commitment to zonal inclusion, with the leadership positions distributed across the three major blocs: Alhaja Barakat Atunse (Igbomina bloc) emerging as Women Leader, Mrs. Toyin Jimoh (Ekiti bloc) as Secretary, and Hon. Olateju Rashidat Ayobami (Ibolo bloc) as Engagement Officer.
Mr. Ayedun Olaitan Ahmed was inaugurated as the Coordinator for the ENACT Youths Brigade while Comrade Sesan Philips Abegunde is the Secretary of the group.
Speaking during the inauguration of the ENACT Youths Brigade, Engr. Balogun urged the youth to prioritize long-term vision over short-term political gains, emphasizing the need for skill development and digital readiness.
He lamented the need to import skilled labour despite the existence of multiple polytechnics and charged the youth to embrace specialized training.
He advocated for polytechnics to become community-raising officers that work directly with industries to train people for specific job needs, rather than focusing solely on academic degrees.
Earlier, addressing the Women Vanguard, Engr. Balogun, a multiple-time senatorial aspirant, shared a message of perseverance and preparation.
“Despite contesting severally, I still didn’t believe it was a lost, I always have the belief that it’s not a failure but a test from my lord because he has never disappointed me. I believe I am more prepared now for the seat than 2018, so I count my lost then as an opportunity for me to prepare for today.” He said.
He highlighted his achievements as a TETFund Board of Trustee member, an opportunity secured through the inputs of President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
He highlighted some of his achievements which included the facilitation of a perimeter fence for COE in Zungeru, Niger State, securing job opportunities for young people, and facilitating a N2 billion intervention fund for COED Oro, showcasing his capacity across the North Central region.
Dr. Babatunde Salami, during the inauguration, charged the new executives on innovation and ideas that can drive success stressing that ENACT is a big, accommodating family for like-minds.
The Coordinator of the Youth Brigade, Mr. Ayedun Olaitan Ahmed, acknowledged Engr. Balogun’s widespread popularity due to his people-oriented mindset and uncommon commitment to community development.
He expressed readiness noting that Engr Nurudeen as a sellable personality is an added advantage that will help their advocacy across the nooks and crannies of Kwara South Senatorial district.
On his part, Secretary of the ENACT Youth Brigade Comr. Sesan Philips Abegunde, spoke on integrity, urging members to avoid compromising the group’s agenda for fleeting benefits.
Dr. Salami further charged the women to intensify door-to-door campaigns, assuring them they were gathered not just for Engr. Nurudeen but for their respective selves, citing a historical reference to a former Governor who promised future political opportunities to his campaigners.
Engr. Bayo Alao who moderated the gathering earlier in his remarks lauded Engr. Balogun’s consistency despite past electoral setbacks, noting that his continued contribution to the party and community service, even without public office, shows a genuine heart for the people.
Adding his voice during the inauguration, Engr Tunde Fadipe charges the newly inaugurated leadership on integrity and open mindedness noting that Life has a way of rewarding trustworthiness in a way beyond human understanding.
He encouraged the youth to leverage their capacity for self-management and decision making that will greatly and positively affects the project.
The newly inaugurated women leadership expressed gratitude and reassured their commitment to taking the message of ENACT down to the grassroots with aggressive campaign mobilization.
