
Ameliorators International Initiative has successfully held a one-day intensive workshop on digital marketing proficiency for young entrepreneurs, teachers, and students in Kwara State.
The workshop, tagged DIGIPACT (Digital Innovation for Growth, Impact and Community Transformation), took place on Saturday, 31st January, 2026, at Abidoye Lane, Flower Garden, GRA, Ilorin.
Participants were trained on essential digital tools, social media marketing strategies, content creation, online branding, and strategies for growing businesses and personal brands in the digital economy.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Director of Ameliorators International Initiative, Ameliorator Yakub Ishowo, explained the strategic importance of the workshop in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
“This workshop aligns directly with SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). When we equip young people with digital marketing skills, we are creating pathways out of poverty, enhancing access to quality education, and empowering them to build sustainable livelihoods,” Ishowo stated.



He added that digital literacy is no longer optional but a necessity for economic participation and social inclusion in today’s world.
The Executive Director assured participants that the organization has made provisions to provide three months of post-training support to monitor their progress and offer continued guidance.
“We are not just training and leaving you. For the next three months, we will be here to support you, answer your questions, and help you apply what you’ve learned. Our goal is to ensure that this training translates into real impact in your lives and communities,” he said.
The Group Director of Media and Publicity, Ameliorator Yusuf Mutiu Olaitan, emphasized the organization’s commitment to impacting society through meaningful interventions.
“Ameliorators International Initiative is contributing its quota toward building a better society. We are investing in you because we believe in your potential. This training is not just an opportunity—it is a responsibility. We charge you to make proper use of what you have learned here today and to share your knowledge with others in your communities,” Mutiu stated.
