Members and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sosoki/Yowere Ward of Asa Local Government Area gathered today for the formal affirmation of newly elected ward executives in a show of unity and renewed commitment to party progress.

The well-attended event brought together party elders, youths, women leaders, and grassroots mobilizers who collectively pledged to strengthen the party’s structure within the ward.

In his remarks, a key party stakeholder and Special Assistant on Drug Abuse Prevention and Control to Kwara Governor, Hon. Aileru Olamilekan Mukail reaffirmed total loyalty to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, praising his visionary leadership and people-centered governance. He emphasized that Sosoki/Yowere Ward remains steadfast in its support for the Governor and his administration’s development agenda.

He highlighted the massive infrastructural development witnessed in the ward under the present administration, noting that various projects have positively impacted the lives of residents and enhanced socio-economic growth in the area.

Addressing the newly affirmed executives, he charged them to prioritize party unity above all else. He stressed that unity, inclusiveness, and cooperation are essential to sustaining the party’s dominance and achieving greater success in future elections. Following the affirmation ceremony, He proceeded to the newly constructed Junior Secondary School, Sosoki, where he donated 50 pairs of school uniforms to the pioneer students of the institution. The gesture, according to him, was aimed at easing the financial burden on parents and supporting the educational advancement of children within the community.

The donation was warmly received by school authorities and community members, who described it as a timely and thoughtful intervention.

The day’s activities concluded with renewed assurances of loyalty to the party leadership and a collective commitment to unity, development, and continued progress for Sosoki/Yowere Ward, Asa Local Government, and Kwara State at large.
