The Senator representing the good people of Kwara North Senatorial District, Sadiq Suleiman Umar, has extended warm greetings to women across Kwara State and beyond as the world commemorates International Women’s Day.
In a statement released to mark the occasion, Senator Umar praised the resilience, strength, and invaluable contributions of Kwara women in shaping families, communities, and the broader socio-economic development of the state and the nation.
He noted that women across the three senatorial districts of Kwara have continued to distinguish themselves in leadership, enterprise, education, agriculture, and public service, adding that their efforts remain a cornerstone of the state’s growth and stability.
The Senator also acknowledged the progressive strides made by the administration of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON in promoting women’s inclusion in governance and decision-making across Kwara State.
