
The Asiwaju Grassroots Alliance Initiative (AGAIN) has inaugurated its Door-to-Door Ward Campaign Coordinators in Shao, as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The initiative, founded by Hussein Afolabi, is designed to deepen support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by engaging directly with residents across wards within the Edu/Patigi/Moro Federal Constituency, with mobilisation set to commence in Moro Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event, organisers noted that the campaign is aimed at consolidating the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration through sustained grassroots engagement.
They emphasised that the movement aligns with the national vision of the President and seeks to bridge the gap between government and the people.
In an interview at the event, Barr Hussein Afolabi, The Founder of the group said the gathering was to reaffirm confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that the administration is beginning to record measurable progress across key sectors.
He also highlighted developments in Kwara State under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, citing improvements in education, infrastructure, youth empowerment and social development.



According to him, the alignment between the state and federal governments has contributed to these gains, stressing that continuity in leadership is essential to sustaining ongoing development efforts.
He further explained that the door-to-door campaign would enable direct interaction with residents, allowing the group to communicate government policies, gather feedback, and strengthen public trust.
The inauguration attracted party members, stakeholders and supporters who expressed optimism that the initiative would enhance grassroots mobilisation and deliver widespread support for the President in the 2027 elections.
