Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State has unanimously endorsed the re-election bid of President Tinubu and the gubernatorial aspirations of Speaker Yakubu Danladi ahead the forthcoming general election.
This development was sealed on Thursday as the stakeholders alongside a large number of residents, staged a massive rally in support of the duo in the ancient town of Ijagbo.
The rally which drew a massive turnout across the local government was led by the Kwara State Deputy Speaker, Ojo Olayiwola.
9japarrot reports that historic political outing which spanned through different streets brought activities to a standstill as supporters gathered in large numbers to demonstrate their loyalty.
Addressing the crowd during the rally, the Oyun Local Government Executive Chairman, Akanbi Kamar Olarewaju, reaffirmed the council’s support for President Tinubu’s administration while endorsing Speaker Danladi as a suitable candidate to succeed Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq comes 2027.
He commended the Gov AbdulRazaq for his leadership over the past seven years, noting that his administration has created opportunities for many political office holders in the state.
Olarewaju also expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for his leadership at the national level, offering prayers for his continued strength and longevity in office.
He called on the people of Oyun to unite in support of Danladi’s gubernatorial ambition, describing him as a capable leader who can sustain and build on the achievements of the current administration in Kwara State.
The Chairman was joined by Member representing Odo-ogun State Constituency, Hon.Yusuf Atoyebi Musa, APC LG Executives, Ward Excos, Thousands of Party Supporters, among others.
