A frontline aspirant for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Hon. Gbenga Oyekunle, popularly known as Gbenga Power, has obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued shortly after securing the forms, Hon. Oyekunle expressed his profound appreciation to Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their leadership and commitment to sustaining peace, stability, and democratic growth in the country.
He noted that his aspiration is borne out of a genuine desire to further serve the people of Ifelodun, Offa, and Oyun, stressing that his commitment to public service has remained unwavering even outside public office.
According to him, his track record of community development includes the construction of several boreholes across communities, provision of support for indigent residents, and regular distribution of food items to party faithful, widows, and the elderly, particularly during festive periods.
Hon. Oyekunle assured party members and constituents that, if given the party’s ticket, he would consolidate on his efforts and deliver more impactful representation that will translate into tangible development for the constituency.
He further called for the support and cooperation of party stakeholders and constituents as he seeks to emerge as the APC candidate for the forthcoming elections.
