House of Representatives hopeful for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Engr. Azeez Abiodun Olaniyan, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day, calling on citizens not to lose hope in the nation’s democratic journey.
He described Democracy Day as more than a public holiday, saying it is a time to reflect on the sacrifices of those who fought for the democratic freedoms Nigerians enjoy today and to renew the collective commitment to building a better country.
Engr. Olaniyan urged Nigerians to remain united and continue to support one another, stressing that peace, tolerance, and active participation in governance are essential to sustaining democracy and national development.
He also appealed to Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, noting that the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda depends on the cooperation, patience, and understanding of the people.
The federal lawmaker hopeful further commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for his commitment to the development of Kwara State, describing him as a leader whose people-oriented policies and projects have positively impacted lives across the state.
Engr. Olaniyan prayed for continued peace, unity, and prosperity in Nigeria and wished all Nigerians a meaningful Democracy Day celebration.
