The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, Rafiu Ajakaye Phd, has expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders and members for their support following his emergence as the party’s flagbearer.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Ajakaye described his emergence as the APC candidate as a product of the confidence and support reposed in him by party members across the federal constituency and beyond.
He also extended appreciation to other aspirants who participated in the party’s primary election, describing them as distinguished personalities who contributed to the democratic process.
“I am especially grateful to my esteemed compatriots who also ran the race. All of you are clearly among the good and the great of our communities, and you will always have my respect,” he said.
The APC candidate appealed to party faithful to close ranks ahead of the 2027 general election, urging members to remain united and work collectively for the success of the party at all levels.
According to him, sustained solidarity, understanding and goodwill among party members would be crucial to securing victory in the forthcoming elections and advancing the development of the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency.
Dr. Ajakaye also expressed gratitude to the leadership of the APC at the national and state levels, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for their leadership and commitment to the party.
He reaffirmed his commitment to working with stakeholders and party members to ensure the APC records victory in the constituency and across the state during the 2027 general election.
