The Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, has officially flagged off the Summer Edition of its Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme.
The intensive initiative commenced on Monday, August 3, 2026, across designated participating public schools and learning centers across the state.
Designed to engage students constructively during the holiday period, the 6 weeks training programme focuses on fundamental software engineering, computer programming, digital literacy, and technology innovation.
The holiday bootcamp forms a key component of the state government’s broader strategy to modernize Kwara’s educational ecosystem, build digital competence from the foundational levels, and equip young residents with competitive tech skills required for the global marketplace.
Addressing participants and instructors at the rollout, program organizers emphasized that the summer edition aims to foster a culture of problem-solving, innovation, and early technological fluency among Kwara’s school-age demographics.
