Grammy Nominated Singer popularly known as Davido have described Nigerian politics as” Evil” making it a known that he has no desire in engaging himself in politics anytime soon.
He made this clarifIcation via his official X account (formerly Twitter) following his support for his Uncle Ademola Adeleke in the just concluded Osun governorship poll.
The statement obtained by 9japarrot reads:
“I brought no one, No one defended me, I backed my family on my own.”, Davido said, noting that his support was based solely on family loyalty.
“I have done my job! Nigerian politics is evil AND I DON’T WANT TO BE A PART OF IT TILL GOD HELPS US!”, He added.
He also aimed at critics who faulted his role during the election, describing their actions as “ruthless” and “disgusting.”
According to the musician, he has played the role he believed was expected of him and has no intention of remaining active in political affairs.
