Nigerian artist, Adeleke David popularly known as Davido has openly mocked the Nigeria Police Force over reports that many of its officers assigned to Osun State for the August 15 governorship election remain stranded in the state weeks after the poll.
Davido reacted to the report via his official X (formerly twitter) page saying: “Could it be because dem no deliver? questioning whether the continued presence of the officers was due to a failure to achieve the desired electoral outcome.
The officers, picked from various Mobile Police Force squadrons, who were deployed to Osun for the election but have reportedly not been sent back to their original formations.
