The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested two suspects over the alleged two cows theft in Bunza Local Government Area of the state.
The command disclosed this in a statement issued by its spokesperson, SP Bashir Usman, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
According to the statement, the suspects were apprehended after the police got information from members of the public that the cows were being taken to Bunza market.
The police said a preliminary investigation showed that the cows were allegedly stolen from Ganten Tudu in Bagudu Local Government Area and taken to Bunza.
The owner of the cows was contacted and he identified them as his property, the Police reported that the recovered cows had been returned their owner.
Meanwhile the investigation was continued to identify and apprehend those who may have been involved in the alleged theft.
