A raid occurred at night on July 28th 2026 when suspected bandits launched a co-ordinated late night attack on a rural community named Abdudu community located in Apado/Oke oyi Ilorin East Local Government area Kwara State Government
According to to Ilorin east council chairman,Hon Lukman Olayinka the invasion happened around 11:00pm when a gang of heavily armed men moved from house to house attacking people and stealing valuables worth 4 million in cash.
After getting large sums of money the attacks resorted to abducting residents which included a pregnant woman and children.
Because of the attack, a combined security force was formed consisting of of the Nigeria police force and the NSDC and more were deployed to track the suspected bandits which lead to the Kwara State police achieving a major breakthrough by arresting a suspected member Sanni after tracing his financial network to a POS stand where he was attempting to withdraw money.
However because of this,Full scale operation has been launched by the Kwara state government to prevent a reoccurrence.
