France Football, organisers of the prestigious Ballon d’Or awards, has officially unveiled the first batch of nominees for the 2026 edition of the ceremony.
The lists were published on the award’s official website on Tuesday as football’s biggest stars and clubs begin the race for this year’s honours.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé is the reigning Ballon d’Or winner after claiming the 2025 award ahead of Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal.
The 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony is scheduled to hold in London, United Kingdom, on October 26.
