Rayan Raveloson, Madagascar midfielder has disclosed that the Barea are not afraid of the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.
Corentin Martins’ team will play against the Super Eagles in matchday one pf the 2027 AFCON qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Friday.
The Super Eagles are overwhelming favourites to win the tie, considering their pedigree and the gulf in class between both teams.
Raveloson, who plays for Turkish club Amedspor, however, remains confident that they can upset the three-time African champions.
“It’s football. They are humans like us, so we are not scared,” Raveloson told reporters in Uyo.
Madagascar defeated Nigeria 2-0 the last time both countries met in a group game at the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt.
