Nico Williams, Athletic Bilbao star, has picked Lamine Yamal, Barcelona winger as the player who deserves to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
According to Williams, Yamal is the kind of player people switch on the television to watch.
Williams and Yamal are close friends and also international teammates with Spain national team.
Speaking to El Desmarque, Williams said, “I think Lamine Yamal deserves it.
“For me, he should be the best player – the one you switch on the telly for because you want to see him.”
Yamal won the World Cup with Spain in the summer and also helped Barcelona secure the LaLiga title.
