The Director of Women Mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Betta Edu, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure re-election in 2027, citing a 40 million-vote mobilisation target driven by the party’s women wing.
Edu disclosed this during the APC Women Stakeholders’ Summit in Abuja, stating that a grassroots mobilisation campaign has been activated across states, wards, communities, and polling units nationwide.
She explained that the nationwide movement is anchored on the “Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reforms to Prosperity,” designed to translate ongoing economic reforms into direct social and economic benefits for Nigerian households.
Speaking at the summit convened by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Edu expressed confidence in the strength of the party’s female voting bloc.
She said, “President Tinubu will win again. When we put our strength together and unite behind our President, victory is certain. Our community engagements and door-to-door mobilisation have continued across the country. It is a sprint, and we will not relent until victory is achieved—our strength is in our numbers.”
The summit marked the formal launch of the APC women’s campaign structure ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
