The Director of Women Mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Betta Edu on Saturday joined First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu in Lafia, Nasarawa State, for the North-Central APC Mega Rally ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The high-level political gathering brought together party chieftains, political office holders, women organizations, and grassroots mobilization groups to consolidate support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
As Director of Women Mobilisation, Edu is tasked with driving nationwide grassroots engagement and coordinating women structures across the country for the ruling party.
The Directorate has set an ambitious target of securing 40 million women votes for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket through a strategic grassroots campaign spanning 176,846 polling units across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Operating under the supervision of First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, the campaign Directorate is anchoring its message on the “Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0” focusing on policy reforms, economic prosperity, social inclusion, and women empowerment.
