The momentum for Engr. Sulaimon Bolakale Kawu, FNSE Kale Kawu is growing beyond Kwara Central as his Ideas for a greater Kwara gained massive acceptance in Kwara South.
In the last few days, the Kwara State Governorship hopeful took his message of ideas-driven governance to communities across five Local Government Areas in Kwara South, Offa, Oyun, Ifelodun, Isin, and Irepodun LGAs.
He visited Offa (Offa LGA), Erin-Ile and Ijagbo (Oyun LGA), Oke-Onigbin (Isin LGA), Arandun (Irepodun LGA) and Share/Igbaja axis (Ifelodun LGA) and other surrounding communities.
It was a carnival of ideas everywhere he went.
From Offa to Erin-Ile, from Ijagbo to Oke-Onigbin, the reception was overwhelming. Traditional rulers, youth groups, market women and community leaders trooped out to receive the Ideas Box, describing his blueprint for Kwara as practical, people-centered and long overdue.
In Offa and Oyun LGAs, stakeholders commended his plan for industrial growth and youth empowerment. In Ifelodun and Isin, the people embraced his agenda for market development and agricultural processing. In Irepodun LGA, it was all about inclusive governance and infrastructure that works.
Speaking during the tour, Kale Kawu said Kwara South holds the key to Kwara’s economic revival because of its commercial heritage and industrious people.
“Kwara South is not just about politics, it is about enterprise. From Offa to Oyun, Ifelodun, Isin and Irepodun, our women trade, our youths are hardworking, our communities understand commerce. My ideas for Kwara will start from here,” he said.
Residents in all five LGAs visited pledged their support for the Kale Kawu project, noting that Kwara needs a leader with ideas, not just ambition.
With this tour, one thing is clear: The Kale Kawu’s Ideas is a Kwara project
