The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Wednesday, departed for Abuja ahead of the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
In a now-trending video on X, the governor was seen walking with his protocol team toward a private jet expected to take him to the Federal Capital Territory for the event.
The inauguration is scheduled to hold at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Adeleke was recently appointed Osun State coordinator of the campaign council for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
His appointment places him among the party’s coordinators expected to mobilise support for the APC ahead of the next presidential election.
The inauguration is expected to formally set the campaign council in motion as the ruling party begins preparations for the 2027 general election.
