Kun Khalifat defender, Ebuka Okoro, has said the team is taking the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign one match at a time as they seek to achieve their targets for the season.
The Owerri-based club have recorded two wins, three draws and four defeats in their first nine matches of the campaign.
Kun Khalifat will host Inter Lagos in a Matchday 10 fixture at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Okoro said the team would remain committed to its established routine and approach each match according to its demands.
“For us as a team, we’re taking every game the way it comes. Everything has its own step. That’s what we’ll do as a team, follow our routine in every match,” he told the club’s media.
Kun Khalifat currently occupy 17th position on the NPFL table with nine points from nine matches, and will be looking to improve their standing as the season progresses.
