Kwara Digital Pulse to Explore the Future of Entrepreneurship

Technology is creating new possibilities for entrepreneurs to launch ventures, connect with customers, and expand their reach beyond traditional markets. With online platforms, digital marketing, and emerging technologies reshaping commercial activities, business owners must continually explore innovative ways to remain competitive and respond to evolving consumer needs.

In line with this, Kwara Digital Pulse (KDP) is set to host its virtual October session themed “The Future of Entrepreneurship: Building Businesses in a Digital Economy.”

Scheduled for Saturday, September 31st, 2026 at 8:00PM WAT via X space (@DigitalKwara), the session will examine how entrepreneurs can harness technology to strengthen their market presence, improve business operations, attract customers, and identify new revenue opportunities. It will also highlight the importance of innovation, strategic planning, and adaptability in building ventures that can remain relevant in a rapidly changing business environment.

The initiative aligns with the vision of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, to advance digital talent development, broaden opportunities for young Kwarans, and position the state as a centre for innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven economic development.

The session will feature two speakers bringing complementary perspectives from entrepreneurship, programme development, and digital marketing:

Michelle Uba (Programme Leader in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Workforce Development): With over eight years of experience, Michelle has designed and delivered innovation, entrepreneurship, and workforce-development programmes across Nigeria and Rwanda. Her expertise includes startup incubation, digital-skills development, ecosystem building, programme strategy, and stakeholder engagement. She has contributed to initiatives reaching thousands of participants, with experience in coordinating partnerships and developing programmes that support entrepreneurial development and innovation.

Precious Adejoke Malomo AICMC (Digital Marketing Enthusiast and Founder of Peesee Wears): Precious is passionate about brand development, customer engagement, and strategic communication. Through Peesee Wears, she has gained hands-on experience in footwear sales, fresh food distribution, and online business development. Her background in Project Management, alongside her learning experience at Rome Business School, has strengthened her interest in business strategy, leadership, and sustainable enterprise development. She is particularly interested in using digital channels to increase brand visibility, connect with customers, drive sales, and explore creative marketing approaches.

Drawing from their respective experiences, the speakers will discuss ways to establish a strong online presence, reach target markets, build customer relationships, and use digital innovation to create lasting business value.

The Kwara State Government invites entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, students, young professionals, freelancers, and members of the wider digital community to participate in the interactive session and explore the opportunities available to businesses willing to adapt and innovate.
