Arise News Political Editor, Sumner Sambo, has claimed that Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, would seek a second term if elected president in the 2027 general elections.
Sambo made the assertion while speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Monday, arguing that nothing will stop Peter Obi from seeking a second term if he wins the 2027 presidential election.
According to him, the idea being pushed by some political players that Peter Obi will do one term and hand over power is not realistic and will not happen.
“Nothing will stop Peter Obi from seeking a second term if he wins. He will betray a one-term pact,” Sambo declared.
