Crayon Tackles Social Media User Over ‘Gay’ Comment On Appreciation Post To Mr Eazi

Nigerian singer, Crayon, has challenged a social media user who described his public appreciation of fellow artiste, Mr Eazi, as “gay”, asking what was wrong with being gay.

Crayon had earlier taken to X to express gratitude to Mr Eazi for his support, advice and concern throughout the year, describing him as someone he deeply valued and would not want to lose.

However, a social media user identified as Ije Awele, reacted to the post by urging the singer to delete it, describing the message as inappropriate.

“Ngozi delete this. This post is gay af bro,” the user wrote.

In response, Crayon criticised what he described as discriminatory attitudes, insisting that people should be free to make their personal choices without being judged.

The singer also questioned why the user felt entitled to dictate what he should post or remove, ending his response with the remark, “Assistant Jesus??”
