Water Scarcity Eases In Oke-Ero As KAB Foundation Installed Motorized Boreholes

In a significant development for the Oke-Ero Local Government Area, the Kehinde Alex Bankole (KAB) Foundation has installed ten motorized boreholes in various schools across the region. This initiative, undertaken in partnership with the Bank of Industry, aims to address the perennial water scarcity challenge faced by the community.

The commissioning ceremony of the boreholes, held at United Anglican Primary School, Ekan-Meje, was graced by the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Kayode Alabi.

Representing Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Deputy Governor commended the KAB Foundation for its commitment to community development. He emphasized the government’s support for such initiatives that improve the lives of the people.
Highlighting the importance of the boreholes, Alabi noted that they would not only provide clean water to students and teachers but also benefit the entire community. He urged residents to take ownership of the infrastructure and ensure its sustainability.

Prince Kehinde Alex Bankole, the founder of the KAB Foundation, expressed his satisfaction with the completion of the project. He underscored the importance of providing access to clean water as a fundamental need for community development. Prince Bankole called on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to contribute to the betterment of their communities.

The paramount ruler of Oke-Ero, Oba David Adekunle Olaniyan, and the Chairman of Oke-Ero Local Government Area, Honourable James Fadipe, also lauded the KAB Foundation’s efforts. They commended the initiative for its positive impact on the community.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Commissioner for Social Development, Honorable Bosede Olaitan Buraimoh, and other community leaders.

With this latest initiative, the KAB Foundation continues to make significant strides in improving the lives of the people of Oke-Ero. The foundation’s commitment to community development is a testament to its founder’s vision and dedication.
