The Aare Akeweje of Oro Kingdom, Chief Engr. Paul Okikidayo Akinola, has expressed heartfelt condolences to Professor Wale Sulaiman on the passing of his beloved mother, Alhaja Belawu Akanke Sulaiman.
In a statement issued on Monday, Aare Akeweje described the matriarch’s demise, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, December 9, 2024, as a tremendous loss to the people of Ajase-Ipo and the nation at large.
“I sympathize with my dear distinguished brother, Professor Wale Sulaiman, on the loss of his dear mother,” Aare Akeweje said.
“Mama lived a fulfilled life, with sterling records evident through her noble son, Professor Wale Sulaiman, who has taken the family’s name beyond the shores of Ajase-Ipo to global recognition as a renowned neurosurgeon.”
Aare Akeweje joined the nation in mourning the loss and prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the departed soul of the matriarch.
He offered prayers for divine solace for the bereaved family and reiterated his solidarity with Professor Sulaiman and his family during this challenging period.
