A movement to seek the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 has been formally launched in Alimosho, Lagos State, tagged the Tinubu 2027 Mandate Party Secretariat.
It is not a surprise this is starting in Alimosho, which is largely regarded in the political landscape as Tinubu’s country.
The inauguration was witnessed by political leaders in the state. They include Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa; Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor, Tayo Akinmade Ayinde; a former member of Lagos State House of Assembly, Bisi Yusuf; Chairman of Agege Local Government, Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi; his counterpart in Orile-Agege LCDA, Johnson Babatunde; and Dr. Oladapo Azeez Yusuf, among others.
