By Nurat Uthman

Dr. Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, will reveal a pipeline of 30 projects worth ₦1.6 trillion ($2.1 billion) at the Enugu State Investment and Economic Growth Stakeholder Roundtable on Friday, September 1.

This event will also see the launch of the Enugu State Integrated Sector-Based Productivity Growth Strategy.

The Secretary of the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, announced these developments in a statement released in Enugu on Monday.

The roundtable aims to attract investors from various industries, both locally and internationally.

The project pipeline includes sectors such as transportation, healthcare infrastructure, energy, power, and agro-allied industrialization. The event will bring together senior executives from international financial institutions, government agencies, commercial banks, and domestic financial institutions to discuss how to mobilize private capital for large-scale infrastructure projects.

The discussions will focus on removing barriers to investment and economic growth, improving investor confidence, and identifying partnership opportunities.

Governor Mbah’s goal is to increase the Enugu State economy from $4.4 billion to $30 billion through the implementation of the Integrated Sector-Based Productivity Growth Strategy, which aims to support sectors with high growth potential and encourage innovation and reduced regulation to attract private investment.
