“Sometimes, the ones who try to break you are the ones God uses to build you.”– Senator Orji Uzor Kalu
History–both divine and earthly–teaches us one undeniable truth: greatness is often born from adversity. From Joseph in Egypt to nations like Israel and Rwanda, adversity has always birthed greatness. Abia North’s story is no different.
Today, those shouting “New Abia North” had their chance—but they left our roads broken, youths jobless, and dreams abandoned. Now, because OUK is building schools, empowering youths, reviving agriculture, creating industries, and offering scholarships, they cry “Our Turn.” But to do what? Return us to failure?
Abia North doesn’t need a new name—it needs continued progress.
OUK is not just a leader; he’s God’s anointed servant for this season. Like David before Goliath, OUK stands tall despite opposition. Every attack only strengthens our foundation.
Calls for his retirement are empty noise. Is it unconstitutional to continue serving when transformation is ongoing? Why stop what’s working when we should consolidate and build more?
Let’s not be deceived—those who failed us now wear sheep’s clothing, not to serve but to steal. We need them—not to follow, but so their opposition sharpens our resolve.
Let’s rise with OUK—for our students, traders, farmers, and future. It’s OUK or OUK. There’s no going back to Egypt—Abia North is moving forward.
