The political landscape of the Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency witnessed an uncommon shift on Sunday as APC Chieftain, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Adejoke Mistura Adeyemi (AMA) hosted a multi-million naira “Mega Empowerment Program.”

At the event, the philanthropist and Yeyeluwa of Oke-Onigbin officially declared her intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The ceremony was graced by the crème de la crème of Kwara politics, including representatives of the First Lady, Amb. Olufolake AbdulRazaq, and top state officials.

In her keynote address, Hon. Adejoke Adeyemi described the empowerment as a movement to unlock the untapped potential of women and youths in Kwara South, emphasizing that her mission is to transform the constituency from a land of deferred dreams to a hub of prosperity.

“I am not just giving handouts, I am giving people the power to stand on their own feet. I want to be your voice, your advocate, and your champion in Abuja. Together, we will build a society where our children have quality education and our farmers have access to markets.” She added.

Highlighting her 2027 agenda, Hon. Adejoke said her mission will focus on enhancing healthcare and educational access across the federal constituency.

She added that Job creation and youth mentorship, boosting agricultural production through modern tools and promoting social justice for the vulnerable will also top her list of missions to accomplish when elected.

Her impressive Multi Million Naira empowerment tagged “Adejoke 2026 Mega Empowerment” saw the distribution of high-value assets and food palliatives to thousands of beneficiaries across the Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency.

Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo FNSE joined the sponsor of the event, Hon Chief (Mrs) Adejoke Mistura Adeyemi in a symbolic presentation of brand new cars to beneficiaries at the Adejoke 2026 Mega Empowerment

The items included; 9 Vehicles, 4 Motorcycles, 40 Deep Freezers, 40 Generators, 50 Sewing Machines, 500 Farming Tools, 50 Grinding Machines, 50 Make-up Kits, 50 Gas Cookers and 5,000+ Food Palliatives.


Speaking at the event, Deputy Chief of Staff to Kwara Governor, Princess Adebukola Babalola lauded Hon. Adejoke’s leadership, noting that a new bill has been passed to encourage more women to contest for elective positions rather than just seeking appointments.

She encouraged her to sustain the moment urging that her interventions will go along way to better the lives of the people.

Similarly, the Isin LGA Chairman, Hon. Benjamin Lanre Jolayemi, and the Member representing Isin State Constituency, Hon. Abdulrazaq Omotosho Bellumi commended the sponsor for her foresight.

They specifically credited Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for providing the enabling environment for such massive private interventions to thrive in the state.

“If we manage these tools to make money, poverty will end in our land. We thank Hon. Adejoke for this multi-million naira project that felt for the people.” Hon Jolayemi added.
