Chief Segun Olaoye Congratulates Prince Sunday Fagbemi on Re-election as Kwara APC Chair

•• Hails Gov AbdulRazaq’s Leadership as Party Strengthens Grassroots Structures

The Babalaje of Oro Kingdom and Founder of the Oluwasegun Olaoye Foundation, Hon. Chief Segun Olaoye, has congratulated Prince Sunday Fagbemi on his successful re-election as the Kwara State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a congratulatory statement released on Wednesday, Hon. Olaoye, a leading aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives for Isin, Irepodun, Ekiti, and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency described the re-election of Prince Fagbemi and the emergence of other executives across the State, Local Government, and Ward levels as a triumph of internal democracy.

Hon. Olaoye in his statement pour accolades on the Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), crediting the Governor’s all-inclusive and fatherly leadership for the peaceful and seamless conduct of the congresses across all 193 wards and 16 local governments.

“The success of these congresses is a direct reflection of the stable and progressive environment fostered by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. His commitment to a fair and transparent process has once again unified our party and positioned us for even greater victories” the statement reads.

“We are proud of the Governor’s tireless efforts in making Kwara APC a model of political stability in Nigeria.” He added.

The House of Reps hopeful also extended his felicitations to the newly elected State Executive Committee, as well as the leaders at the Local Government and Ward levels, urging them to see their victory as a call to higher service and a mandate to further entrench the party’s Renewed Hope agenda at the grassroots.

“To our newly elected leaders from the wards to the state level, your emergence is a confirmation to your loyalty and hard work. I charge you to prioritize unity and the welfare of our party faithful as we approach the 2027 general elections,” He added.

Hon. Olaoye reaffirmed his own commitment to Isin, Irepodun, Ekiti, and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, noting that a strong, united party structure is the bedrock of effective representation, while pledging to continue working closely with the party leadership.
