
The Chairman of the Awliya Foundation, Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal, has extended his warm congratulations to Prince Sunday Fagbemi and the newly reaffirmed State Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State.
Following the successful conclusion of the state congresses on Wednesday, Lawal described the return of the party leadership as well-deserved, noting that the stability of the party is vital for the continued progress of the state.
In a statement released shortly after the congress and made available to 9japarrot media, Hakeem Lawal particularly commended the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), for his role in ensuring a seamless transition, attributing the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercises across the state to the Governor’s responsive and exemplary leadership.
“The peaceful and orderly conduct of these congresses reflects responsive and exemplary leadership. I extend my felicitation to His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the leader of the party in Kwara State, for the successful completion of our congresses.” He said.
With the internal elections now concluded, the Awliya Foundation Chairman urged all party faithful to shift their focus toward consolidation.
He emphasized that the current period serves as a strategic window for the APC to strengthen its ranks and prepare for future electoral challenges.
