Amofin Akogun Visits PDP State Secretariat, Unveils Strategic Roadmap for 2027 House of Reps Bid

Barrister Titilope Joseph, popularly known as Amofin Akogun, a frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin, and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, paid a strategic courtesy visit to the PDP State Working Committee at the Party Secretariat as part of his consultations and political engagements on Saturday 22nd March, 2026.

The visit was aimed at formally informing the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of his intention to contest, seek their support and cooperation toward achieving his aspiration.

During the meeting, Amofin Akogun was full of praises for the party leadership for their dedication to sustaining the PDP in Kwara State and described the party as the most credible platform for restoring hope and delivering good governance. He explained that his aspiration is driven by a commitment to purposeful and people-oriented representation, while outlining key priorities such as youth empowerment, infrastructural development, economic growth, improved education, and stronger constituency engagement.

His emphasis on #WinningAgain, attracted much interest in this candidacy, as light in this generation. Amofin Akogun has all statistics handy, and perfectly understands the pathway to Victory Again. One of the State Central Working Executives declared.

Amofin Akogun also called for unity among party members, stressing that collective interest must come above personal ambition.

He vowed to continue his humanitarian efforts for years which has stood him out amongst his peers and to continue to engage everyone necessary in the realisation of his House of Representatives pursuit.

Reaffirming his loyalty to the PDP, he pledged to respect the party’s internal democratic processes and support whoever emerges as the party’s candidate, while assuring leaders that he remains committed to strengthening the party’s influence across the federal constituency.

In his response, PDP State Chairman Hon. Isa Adamu Bawa commended Amofin Akogun for his political maturity and commitment to the party, noting that the presence of credible aspirants reflects the PDP’s growing strength. He assured all aspirants of fairness and transparency, urged continued grassroots mobilization, and expressed confidence that with unity, discipline, and dedication, the PDP can secure victory in 2027.

The meeting ended with high hopes that the PDP is back to winning ways come 2027.
