
Chief Olaitan Nurudeen Owoniyi, has extended a message of deep reflection, peace, and solidarity to the people of Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency and Kwara State on the occasion of this year’s Good Friday Celebrations.
In a statement issued on Friday, the renowned businessman and philanthropist described Good Friday as a day that defines the essence of humanity’s hope through the ultimate sacrifice made on Calvary.
Chief Owoniyi emphasized that the significance of Good Friday transcends religious boundaries, offering universal lessons in resilience and the power of sacrificial leadership.
“As our Christian brothers and sisters reflect on the passion and death of Christ, it is a time for all of us to contemplate the virtues of selflessness and the enduring love that Christ exemplified for the salvation of mankind.” the statement reads.
The Jaiyeoba of Igbaja urged Kwarans to use this holy period to reinforce the spirit of neighborliness and mutual respect.
“Our strength as a people in Kwara State is rooted in our collective ability to stand together, honoring each other’s sacred moments. I appeal to all constituents to embrace the core lessons of this day, patience, forgiveness, and kindness as we navigate the path toward a more prosperous and united society,” he added.
