
The National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musliu Olu-Omo, on Monday, paid a courtesy visit to a prominent Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and a leading Gubernatorial aspirant, Amb. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki Gambari, MFR, at his residence in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
Alhaji Olu-Omo, who was represented by the Kwara State Chairman of the NURTW, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Ariwoola, was received by members of the ‘Amba Team Worldwide’ led by Hon. Kale Oloje and the Ambassiyah Coordinator, Hon. Ismail Kayode.
During the visit, Alhaji Ariwoola expressed profound gratitude to the Ambassador for his consistent support of the union and the community at large. He reaffirmed the union’s unwavering loyalty to Amb. Yahaya Seriki, describing him as a dependable and trustworthy leader.
Responding on behalf of the host, the team commended the NURTW leadership for the visit, noting that the Ambassador remains committed to the progress of the transport sector and the welfare of the people.
In a symbolic gesture of the cordial relationship between the union and the political leader, Hon. Kale Oloje received a formal letter of invitation on behalf of the Ambassador for the upcoming 70th birthday celebration and installation ceremony of a former NURTW National President, Alhaji Najeem Yasin, as the Basorun of Offa.
Other notable members of the reception team included Hon. Muhammad Mashood Muazu (Emperor), Hon. Abdulrauf Aireke, and Alhaji Taiye Olose.
The gathering concluded with special prayers offered by Hon. Muazu and Alhaji Olose, who sought divine protection and success for Amb. Yahaya Seriki in his future political and personal endeavors.
