A leading Kwara South Senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC),Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun on Saturday demonstrated his grassroots appeal by participating in the APC Unity Rally held in Ilorin, the state capital.
The aspirant was seen actively trekking alongside party faithful from the takeoff point at the Emir’s Palace, through the bustling Post Office area, and culminating at the Government House, GRA.
The Senatorial hopeful noted that his participation was a confirmation of his unwavering loyalty to the party and his commitment to the leadership of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
9japarrot described Balogun’s presence as a strategic move to align with the party’s internal cohesion efforts ahead of the upcoming electoral cycles.
The rally, which was organized by the APC Youth Likeminds served as a gathering point for several party heavyweights and stakeholders, including Amb. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari, Members of the Kwara State Executive Council (Commissioners), Various aspirants for legislative seats.
The event was characterized by a high-energy atmosphere, as supporters chanted slogans in solidarity with the “Otoge” administration’s achievements and the continued unity of the ruling party in the state.
