BREAKING: Yeye Olasumbo Becomes First Aspirant to Pick APC Reps Form for Kwara South Seat

The race for the Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency seat took a decisive turn on Tuesday as Hon. Olasumbo Florence Oyeyemi became the first aspirant from the constituency to pick up the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.

The forms were obtained at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja by a “Committee of Friends,” marking a significant milestone in her bid to represent the four local government areas in the Green Chamber.

The move has sent a strong signal of preparedness and grassroots backing, positioning Oyeyemi as a pacesetter in what is expected to be a highly competitive primary.

The Yèyéluà Media Brainbox, reporting the development, described the acquisition of the form as a “collective effort” by supporters who believe in her readiness and capacity to provide credible leadership.

The group noted that the gesture underscores the deep-seated belief constituents have in her experience and her ability to deliver effective representation at the federal level.

“The movement is growing, and the message is clear. This is a collective effort driven by people who believe in credible leadership and effective representation,” the statement read. “Yèyéluà is a God-owned project and a people-focused agenda.”

By becoming the first to officially pick up the forms, Hon. Oyeyemi has intensified the momentum for her campaign across Ekiti, Irepodun, Isin, and Oke-Ero. Supporters have characterized her candidacy as one focused on social development and inclusive governance.

With the “journey truly begun,” political observers in Kwara South suggest that Oyeyemi’s early entry into the formal nomination process highlights a strategic advantage in terms of organization and stakeholder engagement.

As the APC prepares for its primary elections, the “Yèyéluà” movement continues to gain traction, with supporters emphasizing that her agenda is rooted in a commitment to the welfare of the people and the progress of the constituency.
