Ahead of tomorrow’s All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections, the bid by Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu (SMK) to represent the Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency keeps gaining momentum with various community groups and party stakeholders declaring her the “SURE choice for change.”

The legal practitioner and seasoned administrator, who has served as a pivotal member of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s cabinet, is widely considered a frontrunner due to her deep-rooted connection with the grassroots and her track record in human capital development.

In a final push across the constituency today, supporters noted that SMK’s aspiration is a direct response to a clarion call for higher service. She’s a steadfast ally of the “Otoge” legacy and the Renewed Hope agenda with extensive professional background in banking, human resources, and public sector management.

She has a grassroots acceptability whose popularity cuts across both Ilorin East and Ilorin South local governments.

As APC prepares to conduct its primaries tomorrow, Saturday, the atmosphere in Ilorin East and South is filled with anticipation.
