The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the Olododo’s Table Tennis Championship 2026 has announced the kickoff of a seven-day tournament spanning all 23 political wards across Ilorin East and Ilorin South Local Government Areas.
The grassroots sporting event is scheduled to launch at two central venues across the constituency:
Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Balogun Fulani Forecourt (Ilorin South LGA) and on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Burhanudeen Primary School, Isale-Koto, Ojagboro (Ilorin East LGA).
The initiative forms part of broader youth engagement efforts sponsored by former Kwara State Commissioner for Works and APC House of Representatives candidate for Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency, Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo.
According to the LOC, the championship aims to foster social cohesion, promote grassroots sports development, and identify emerging athletic talents among youths in the federal constituency.
