Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma, Sector 2, have rescued four kidnapping victims in separate operations conducted in Zamfara and Kebbi states.

The spokesman for the 8 Division, Sector 2, Lt. Col. Olaniyi Osoba, disclosed this on Thursday.

Osoba said troops rescued two victims, identified as Mansur Shehu, 25, and Kadijat Haruna, 49, from a farm in Binoni Marafa, Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

In a separate operation in Kebbi State, troops rescued Jimoh Su-Arege, 35, and Kalahe Danjuma, 41, along the route between Bena and Sawade.

According to Osoba, the operation followed reports that suspected terrorists were moving with kidnapped victims from Dipindu village in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area.
