Primate Ayodele Accuses Tinubu’s Governors of Laziness

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has described state governors under President Bola Tinubu’s administration as lazy, accusing them of failing to make meaningful impact on the lives of their people.

Ayodele alleged that governors were spending the funds they receive from the Federation Account on activities that do not contribute to the economic development of their states.

In a statement signed by his Head of Communications, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric urged the governors to reduce their spending on political campaigns and focus more on improving the welfare of citizens.

He said despite receiving more money, many governors had failed to translate the increased revenue into tangible benefits for their people.

“Governors in this Tinubu regime are very lazy. They are making more money, but their people are not feeling the impact,” Ayodele said.

He further advised the governors not to spend all their resources on political campaigns, stressing that citizens would remain in the states long after political activities were over.

According to him, governors should prioritise development and seek better ways to improve the living conditions of residents in their respective states.
