The Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Senator Lola Ashiru has bagged an award of recognition from his alma mater, the Esie-Iludun Grammer School Old Student’s Association.
The Distinguished Leadership and Service award presented by the President of the Association, Prof. Kunle Olawepo is in recognition of the Senator’s continuous support and numerous efforts to the development of the Association and the school and in celebration of the School 60th Anniversary.
During their visit to Esie-Iludun Grammar School, the Senator, along with other distinguished leaders of the Old Student’s Association, engaged in a productive discussion about enhancing infrastructure to better the education of Science students.
Recall, the Deputy Senate Leader in 2023 facilitated construction of blocks of classrooms to the Esie-Iludun Grammer School as part of his drive towards repositioning the Infrastructural Development of the Kwara South senatorial district.
Senator Ashiru during the gathering yesterday with the Leaders of the Old Student’s Association discloses that he’ll be embarking on reconstruction of the three major laboratories in the school: the Biology, Physics and Agricultural Laboratory.
In the same vein, he mentioned that adequate focus will be placed on the Staff Quarters and they will be incorporated in the reconstruction process.
